Michelle Linn founded Linnden Communications in 2002, and has twenty years of strategic planning and communications experience in the healthcare industry. Michelle is an award-winning communications specialist with a combination of agency and corporate experience. She is a frequent speaker at conferences, and has developed strong media contacts and industry relationships within the life sciences and healthcare community.
Michelle has developed and implemented numerous communications, investor relations and media relations programs, and has significant experience working with organizations seeking assistance with strategic positioning and branding. She has worked with many companies requiring multi-disciplinary communications services, and is able to integrate multiple programs effectively to ensure consistent communications for all audiences.
Michelle previously served as an Executive Vice President at Feinstein Kean Healthcare (FKH), a unit of Ogilvy Public Relations and a leading healthcare communications agency. During her nine-year tenure at FKH/Ogilvy, Michelle provided a wide variety of corporate communications services to start-up and mid-size healthcare and technology companies and organizations. While at FKH/Ogilvy, Michelle was a member of the Ogilvy 50, a select group of 50 leaders recognized throughout the global Ogilvy Public Relations network. She also received a National Silver SABRE award for public relations services provided to a client.
Prior to joining FKH, Michelle managed corporate communications for EcoScience Corporation, a Massachusetts-based ag-biotech company, where she was responsible for establishing and maintaining EcoScience's internal corporate communications program. Her experience there included coordinating communications related to the launch of the company's first product and a follow-on public offering.
Michelle holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Bentley College.
Janna Guinen has more than 18 years of communications experience in life sciences and healthcare. She has consulted to organizations ranging from biotech, pharmaceutical, laboratory instrument, medical devices and diagnostics companies to patient advocacy and professional associations, physician practices and networks, personal health and healthcare delivery technologies, and service companies selling into the life sciences industry. Janna's experience spans the full range of communications disciplines, with emphasis on media relations and social media, corporate communications and advocacy. Having both corporate and agency experience, she understands communications from the client's perspective.
Previously, Janna was a corporate communications manager at Serono Laboratories, now EMD Serono, where she managed integrated public and professional relations campaigns in support of corporate objectives, as well as product PR in support of four business units. While at Serono, she spearheaded the development and launch of the company's award-winning web site, worked on the launch of four new pharmaceutical products and managed a patient relations initiative to support the approval of a near-term product candidate. She has since led numerous communications campaigns for medical products and services in all stages of development. Her experience includes major areas of medicine such as neurology, endocrinology, infectious disease, oncology, women's health and cardiovascular diseases. Janna was formerly with agencies Feinstein Kean Healthcare and Lowe Grob Health & Science.
Janna holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has completed the majority of coursework toward a Masters in Public Health at Boston University.

Harriet brings more than 30 years of business and communications experience in the pharmaceutical and business consulting industries. Prior to joining FKH, she was responsible for corporate communications and marketing at Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc. Previously she was the Public Relations Manager at Charles River Associates Incorporated, an economics/management consulting firm.
Harriet holds an M.A. in English Language and Literature, University of Michigan, and a B.A. in General Studies in Humanities, University of Chicago.
Joan E. Kureczka is the founding partner of Kureczka/Martin Associates (http://kureczka-martin.com), a firm she initially formed as J. Kureczka Associates in 1990.
During her career, Joan has achieved significant success by helping clients communicate difficult scientific concepts and achieve outstanding media coverage for technical and business accomplishments. She offers clients and media alike a unique perspective on healthcare and the biotechnology industry in all its facets, having prior experience as a biotechnology industry reporter, biotech public policy expert, industry consultant, and regulatory affairs staff member of biotech pioneer, Genentech.
In addition, she has been a pioneer in communications for industrial biotech and cleantech companies since the late 1990's through her work with such clients as Michigan Biotechnology Institute and others.
Prior to establishing her own practice, she was technical director and led media relations at Annes Associates, a San Francisco-based firm specializing in healthcare public and investor relations and business-to-business marketing communications.
Joan has extensive experience in the design and implementation of corporate communications programs, helping companies to define a compelling story and then to communicate it effectively to raise visibility with various target audiences including potential partners and investors. She has been instrumental in assisting young biotechnology firms with strategic positioning, as well as with the writing/editing of web and press materials, business plans, corporate partnering and financing documents.
Joan holds an M.S. in environmental management from the University of San Francisco and a B.S. in microbiology from Cornell University as well as having conducted graduate level studies in biochemistry and microbiology at Colorado State University, Fort Collins. She is an active member of the Northern California Science Writers Association.

Donna was also responsible for the design, art direction and management of individual marketing brochures, direct mail brochures, guidebooks and a customer magazine.
